Next Sufjan Stevens “state” album – California ?

The singer and songwriter Sufjan Stevens has long had plans to make a concept album for each of the US’s 50 states.
In 2003 he released ‘Michigan’ and in 2005 the ‘Illinois’ album. Now he has suggested that the next state he will tackle in his series of concept albums will be California.
It has previously been speculated that Stevens would also write his next opus about Oregon, Rhode Island or Minnesota. In late 2005 and early 2006 Stevens played a new instrumental track titled “The Maple River.” The Maple River mentioned …

Chris Cornell leaves Audioslave

Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has announced he will be leaving the group due to “irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences”. There has been no further word on whether the band will continue without him, and if so, who would take over vocal duties.
Meanwhile, the remaining members of Audioslave will be taking part in the “knockout blow” reunion of the year, with their prior vocalist Zach de la Rocha, in the form of Rage Against the Machine at this year’s Coachella festival. Guitarist Tom Morello has stated that the …

Bipolar disorder is a diagnosis in psychiatry referring to periods of extreme, often inappropriate, and sometimes unpredictable mood states.

Many famous people are believed to have been affected by bipolar disorder (formerly known as manic depression), based on evidence in their own writings and contemporaneous accounts by those who knew them.
